Sandy Loam is a soil type that is used for grass and plants that require lots of drainage in order to grow. Sandy Loam is a soil that contains sand as a dominant component as well as containing silt and clay.

If used in garden beds, we recommend mulching to assist with moisture retention. This would prevent soil from forming a crust on top.

* Ideal for use on new lawns using either instant turf or seed
* Suitable to plant Palms, Ferns, and Native plants as it is lower in nutrient content than other soils
* Not suitable for pots

*For top dressing we suggest using our Turf Sand

This is a recycled and sustainable material, small traces of stone, plastic and rubble may be found in parts of the material
