What is an In-Home Plant Care Consultation? 

An In-Home Plant Care Consultation is a personalized service where one of our plant experts visits your home to assess your plants’ growing conditions and provide tailored advice on plant health, positioning, watering, general maintenance, and ongoing care. 

 

Who is this service best suited for? 

This service is ideal for customers who: 

  • Want expert advice without transporting plants to the nursery 

  • Have established indoor or outdoor potted plants 

  • Are unsure why their plants are struggling 

  • Want confidence that their plants are in the right location 

  • Prefer personalized, professional guidance 

 

What is included in the consultation? 

Your consultation includes: 

  • Assessment of plant health and growing conditions 

  • Advice on positioning, light, watering, and care 

  • General maintenance guidance and troubleshooting 

  • Assistance moving and repositioning pots where safe and practical 

 

What is not included? 

The consultation does not include: 

  • Landscaping or construction work 

  • Ongoing garden maintenance 

  • Guaranteed plant outcomes 

  • Repotting, plants, potting mix, or materials (unless added on) 

These services can be discussed and quoted separately during the visit. 

 

How much does the consultation cost? 

The standard consultation fee is subject to the pricing structure indicated on our website. Pricing may vary depending on travel requirements. Additional services such as reporting, materials, or extra time are charged separately. 

 

How do I book a consultation? 

To book, you can use the link on our website or come into store and register with our customer service team on our designated iPad.  

 

Do I need to prepare anything before the visit? 

We recommend: 

  • Ensuring clear access to the areas being assessed 

  • Securing pets if required 

  • Being available to discuss your goals and concerns 

  • Letting us know in advance of any access or safety considerations 

 

Can you repot plants during the consultation? 

Yes, repotting can be provided as an optional add-on. All repotting, plants, potting mix, and materials are charged separately at standard retail pricing and quoted on site. 

 

Do you provide a written summary after the consultation? 

A written follow-up summary with recommendations is available as an optional add-on for an additional fee. This summary includes tailored advice and next steps and comes with a $10 product voucher. 

 

What areas do you service? 

In-home consultations are available within our service area and are subject to staff availability. Travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service zone. 

 

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule? 

We ask that you provide reasonable notice (24 hours) if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or failure to provide access may result in a cancellation fee. 

 

What if the consultant feels unsafe? 

Your safety and our staff’s safety are very important to us. 
If a consultation environment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate, the consultant may terminate the visit immediately. 

 

Will you guarantee my plants will improve? 

While we provide expert advice tailored to your home and plants, plant health can be influenced by many factors beyond our control. For this reason, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. 

 

Can I buy plants or products after the consultation? 

Absolutely. Many customers choose to purchase plants, pots, or products following their consultation. Any purchases are charged separately at standard retail pricing.
